What better way to spend Valentine’s Day than marrying the love of your life? That’s exactly what Hannah and Jefferson chose to do this year, celebrating their love with an intimate and romantic winter wedding at Terrain DelVal, the stunning new venue at the Delaware Valley Campus. As a Philadelphia wedding photographer and videographer, I have had the joy of capturing countless love stories, but this one felt extra special. Funny story—I was actually there the day Hannah and Jefferson first met! It was at their mutual friends’ wedding, which I had the pleasure of photographing a few years ago. Seeing their journey come full circle and capturing their wedding day was a true honor.

Hannah and Jefferson began their day getting ready at their nearby church, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The details of the morning were nothing short of elegant. Hannah’s wedding day perfume was the luxurious Baccarat Rouge 540, adding a sophisticated and memorable touch. Her bouquet, designed by Okay Cool Florals, featured a delicate blend of winter whites with pops of red, a perfect nod to Valentine’s Day wedding vibes.

One of the most emotional moments of the morning was Hannah’s first look with her mom. Tears were shed, laughter was shared, and it was a beautiful reminder of the importance of family on such a special day. Meanwhile, Jefferson and his groomsmen shared quiet moments of excitement, adding final touches to their sharp Indochino suits before the ceremony.

Instead of exchanging their vows during the ceremony, Hannah and Jefferson opted for a private vow exchange after their first look in the church’s sanctuary. This allowed them to share an intimate and heartfelt moment together before the whirlwind of the day continued. It was an incredibly touching moment to witness and photograph, as they held hands, laughed, and shed happy tears together.

Terrain at DelVal is an absolute dream for wedding photography, offering a blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. Even in the winter months, the venue’s gardens and greenhouse spaces created a romantic backdrop for wedding portraits. The twinkling lights, cozy textures, and earthy tones made for some truly magical images. The crisp February air didn’t stop us from exploring the venue for the perfect shots—the love between Hannah and Jefferson kept them glowing!

The ceremony space at Terrain was transformed into a romantic Valentine’s Day dream. The décor featured red bows, lush roses, and delicate paper mache hearts, creating a warm and intimate setting. As the couple exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as newlyweds, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. The atmosphere was filled with love, joy, and the promise of a beautiful future ahead.

After the heartfelt ceremony, guests were ready to celebrate! Cocktail hour was buzzing with energy, featuring delicious drinks and hors d’oeuvres that kept everyone warm and happy. The guests were dressed to impress, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Inside the reception space, Hannah and Jefferson made their grand entrance and shared their first dance as husband and wife, a moment filled with love and joy. Jefferson also had a special dance with his mom, and Hannah dedicated a heartfelt moment to her mother, making the evening even more meaningful.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for a spread of beautifully decorated cupcakes, a fun and delicious treat that their guests adored. The evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, laughter, and of course, plenty of dancing. EBE Talent kept the energy high on the dance floor, ensuring that guests danced the night away.

A unique highlight of the evening was the ramen and s’mores station, a cozy and delightful addition that was perfect for a winter wedding! Guests loved warming up with a bowl of delicious ramen and roasting marshmallows to create the perfect s’more.

As the night came to a close, Hannah and Jefferson made their grand exit under a tunnel of sparklers, surrounded by their cheering guests. It was a breathtaking moment, full of excitement and love. They then hopped into their adorable blue Smart car and drove off into the night, ready to start their next chapter as husband and wife.
